It would not be an exaggeration to say that real estate is in A.C. Reeves’ DNA. The Qualifying Broker and Co-owner of the Real Estate Gallery first learned the business as a child, watching her grandmother sell farmland in the Arkansas Delta. Since that time, A.C. honed her service experience with a series of jobs that focused on working with the public. From working with the mentally handicapped to dealing with the pressures of the service industry, A.C. has the real-world experience that makes all the difference when you’re looking for the broker who understands you and your needs.
After meeting her husband (and Selma native), Allen Reeves, at the University of the South, A.C. discovered a real love for the Selma area—which can be seen in her devotion to showing off the beauty and potential of the community.
And as the mother of two daughters (one entering college, and one teenager), A.C. has seen her family grow up in this community and is happy to be part of the effort to improve it, one property at a time.
For Barbara Leet, working in real estate is the best way to fulfill her dedication to the community and her love for Selma.
A native of Virginia, Barbara has lived in Selma for over 35 years. Until his retirement, Barbara’s husband, a Selma native, owned a long-time family business in Selma. Now, they both dedicate themselves to family (especially their two daughters and their grandchildren) and helping the community. From working on the newest YMCA to doing alumni and recruitment volunteer work for the University of Alabama, the Leet family is dedicated to giving back to the town they love. In particular, Barbara enjoys the beauty and friendly spirit of the town, and her volunteer work with Selma’s historic Sturdivant Hall speaks volumes about her commitment to highlighting the best of Selma.
A newcomer to real estate, Barbara previously worked in recruitment at a local hospital. So bringing people to Selma is something of a life-long habit for her. She often sings the praises of Selma as a great and growing community—especially for families—and is eager to share what she loves about the area with newcomers. She very much enjoys working with The Real Estate Gallery, and says that it gives her a good feeling to help people find what they’re looking for in Selma.
